This is the class i do all my art work in and the reason for this blog!
my teacher Mrs. Wheeler, assigns me assignments and thats the reason for
all my art work!
so heres my first project! It started off as a neon
pink shoe the brand was a van i'm turning it into giraffe
i already have his neck its made out of a cardboard cylinder painted into a
giraffe neck i'm gonna paint the shoe and add eyes to it also.
here is my shoe and the neck that i created. I'm going to set the head
looking down that way it will give the illusion that its tall and looking
down at everyone who is looking at it.
Almost there! yay! .. i placed beads in the giraffe for his eyes i
added foil to the horns and top of eyes to sculpt the way i wanted to horn i wanted
the horns a little bit thicker and above the eyes i put foil that what it looks like he has
and expression. i also gave him a nose i used a zacto knife to cut in the shoe for
the nose hope you guys think it looks good !

I'm making a mask i want to make a cow head skull!
Heres how it looks so far!
so here it is i have paper mached it and gonna add the horns to it
i have used cardboard to give it shape ! and cut wholes on the side to
look like it the cows eyes !

ReplyDeleteMari, the blog is the same as a sketchbook journal - just online - you kids took a 4 weeks longer on the shoes than you should have, and oh my goodness all the talking, even after I said you could wear headphones... Have you noticed that we haven't done any Scholastic Art magazine questions or worksheets? We are looking at real art and artists, often in real time. Those of you who did the quick assignment, got an extra 100, and most of you needed the points - and the extra credit assignment, was another. I asked you to pick a different layout for your blog, I can hardly see any of your lists, and they are getting farther and farther down the blog - also I noticed that you put all of your blogs in a link list, so they don't show any updates!! No wonder you miss assignments!! This is week # 7 that we've been working on the blogs, and you don't have all the AHS art blogs....come on girl!! You can do this. It's only hard because instead of being on your 25 or more post, you are on your 5th or so - I know you can do it, I have faith in you!!
